Q1 Can you give us a brief description of MetaRace and how you developed the idea?
MetaRace is more than just a horse racing game. As a start-up company with a key focus on the metaverse, MetaRace will partner with established stables and clubs, using blockchain technology to combine horse racing with online gaming and NFTs. Through the integration of these three elements, MetaRace Horse Racing will be born on the blockchain! Horse racing is an exhilarating competitive sport, and with breeding, training, and competitions there are many fun play-to-earn activities to enjoy. What if you don’t feel like racing? Wagering is also a big part of the game, sit back and enjoy the race from the sidelines and place some wagers on who you think might win!
Q2 What are the main features and advantages that set you apart from other projects?
MetaRace is different from all other horse racing games. We have built some amazing sci-fi elements into the game – including the design of the mechanical horses – which fit perfectly with the team’s vision of the metaverse. More importantly, with traditional online games the predictable results and tedious gameplay can quickly become boring for players, so they give up and move on. MetaRace however has multiple interactive elements to keep players engaged and interested. Not only does every NFT horse have its own unique attributes that can improve your chance of winning, MetaRace horse racing also uses genetic algorithms and RNG technology (Random Number Generation) to create unpredictable race outcomes and challenges to keep every race exciting to the end!
Players can become jockeys, mechanics and racecourse owners and earn income in multiple ways, through horse racing, trading, breeding and upgrading!
Q3 Can you share some of the background and experience of the MetaRace team? How are you able to continue development during the current pandemic?
Our team includes game designers, software engineers, blockchain developers, digital artists, cryptocurrency and NFT experts, as well as successful operators within the sport of horse racing. We have decades of experience across multiple industries, and as we continue to grow we are committed to recruiting the brightest talent to help us bring our metaverse to life.
The MetaRace team is also global, spread across multiple time zones. Thankfully with today’s technology – social apps, communication tools, cloud storage etc – we can be a fully effective team from wherever we are located, many of us at home, which has enabled us to maintain complete focus throughout the pandemic.
Q4 There are many NFT and gaming projects currently active, so the market must be highly competitive as users become more selective when choosing new platforms. Can you describe some of the features that differentiate MetaRace from other blockchain-based games?
MetaRace gameplay is multi-faceted. As well as the core features of horse racing and NFT collection, MetaRace offers stunning graphics and access to a metaverse fully integrated for gaming. Players can place wagers on races and even obtain the right to operate their own racecourse by staking tokens, without the need to hold any NFTs. We will also implement standards for horses, accessories and tracks, then allow players to design their own NFTs and participate in the development of the game as part of a ‘free-to-build’ function, planned for a later stage. Note that player designs will need to pass a community governance vote before they can be added to the metaverse. The possibilities are endless!
In future implementations we will introduce Extended Reality (XR) to further enhance gameplay with high quality 3D video, enabling players to personally experience the process of raising horses. They can interact with their horses, decorate, train, race and ride them. This will only be possible with MetaRace!
Q5 Marketing and partnerships play a very important role in any project’s success, so what are your marketing strategies?
In addition to the game itself, we are actively developing relationships with global partners. I am thrilled to announce that we are currently agreeing collaborations with some top game guilds and organizations in the horse racing industry! We have received some very positive responses so far. Q5: Can you share some Details about Recent Major Achievements done by your project? Also, what are the Future Roadmap & Targets of your project?
A5: MetaRace will open the whitelist for NFT horse racing in the near future. According to the roadmap, in the first two phases of the project, we are more emphasized to meet the diverse needs of users, improve the gameplay, and P2E attributes. In this application, you will interact with nearly a million sports and horse racing enthusiasts in real time. From nurturing to competitions, you can enjoy the excitement and exclusive rewards of sports.
In the subsequent stage, we will use xR (Extended Reality) extended reality technology, and wearable devices, so that players can personally experience the whole process of raising horses, including interacting with horses, decorating horses, training horses, cultivating horses, and even riding them in person. Ride horses on the field to achieve seamless conversion between the virtual world and the real world. These gameplays can be realized in the future of MetaRace.
